I found Emma under my mother's back porch about seven years ago. She was a skinny, knotty mess of a cat with missing teeth and a broken tail. After a lot of food, a shave, and a trip to the vet she was a whole new feline. She actually bounced around after coming home from the shave. She must have been in a lot of pain. To see her so happy was one of the best things I've ever witnessed.

Emma now lives the easy life here with me in my home. Always underfoot, she follows me from room to room and is rarely more than an arms legnth away. She leaves hair everywhere, and always needs me to cut the tangled knots from her incredibly dense fur, but it's worth it, because she is just so damned cute.

I'm glad to have her around.. and with cold weather returning, she'll be happy to have my warm lap around.
